New Camera + Free Time = Pictures of Random Things

Recently I purchased a new camera--my first digital SLR. Photography is one of my few creative outlets (well, unless you count formatting Word documents and Excel spreadsheets), and my little point-and-shoot, while nice for a point-and-shoot, is still...well...a point-and-shoot. So I finally decided to save up for a camera with a few more bells, whistles, and mega pixels.

So this evening I bring you a few shots from my two brief photographing outings to play with my new toy.
